USP Ranked No. 1 in Dentistry: Dr. Del Santo’s Story

USP Earns EduRank’s Top Spot for Dentistry

EduRank’s 2026 ranking of dental schools places the University of São Paulo (USP) first in the world for dentistry. An official USP dental-school announcement also highlights the university’s No. 1 positions for dentistry and orthodontics in EduRank’s 2026 results.

The recognition reflects the strength of USP’s dental research and the work of its faculty, students, and staff. For Super Braces, it is also a proud connection to Dr. Marinho Del Santo’s professional story.

Where Dr. Del Santo’s Journey Began

Dr. Del Santo earned his DDS degree from the University of São Paulo in Brazil. He later continued his education at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, earning a Master of Science in Orthodontics and a PhD in Craniofacial Growth and Development.

That academic foundation is part of the experience he brings to Super Braces today. Dr. Del Santo is board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, has more than 30 years of orthodontic experience, and has treated more than 10,000 patients.
